This is a small selection of websites, organisations, blogs, journals, books, research tools etc that I’ve found useful.
The Humanitarian Bamboo project
A project aiming to develop standards and guidelines for the use of bamboo in post-disaster response. Aims to bridge the gap between the knowledge held by skilled bamboo artisans and professionals about bamboo construction and the very immediate need for practical solutions and recommendations of aid workers and affected communities. gather together the lessons learned by the humanitarian sector, about the use of bamboo in post disaster reconstruction, from Jogjakarta and other sources. to better support the sustainable use of bamboo in quality post disaster reconstruction.
